Red Ravens

We're putting on a dinner show at the WOs' & SNCOs' (Pronounced Woes and Snows) Mess at Linton Camp. If you're interested in attending, get in contact with Conal. To be sure of a place, you'll need to catch him before the end of Tuesday, 30th November.

In short, we'll be picked up by the Army, perform for them, be given food and drink, be paid, and be dropped off home by them. Sweet :)

1. Friday 3rd December. Tent setup and gear pick up to commence from Friday 12:00. One / two of our guys out to Linton with the gear and tent. Help till wall hangings are in place.
2. Saturday 4th December. 16:30 at Hokowhitu Scout Hall for transport to Linton Camp. Raven’s to have hard kit ready.
3. 17:30 at Linton. Run through program with team and allocate table groups and colours.
4. 17:45-18:45 Start some warm-ups, light sparring and quarter staff work on the lawn outside entrance. Two persons on guard duty at door to welcome guests whilst rest of crew gears up and meets tables / set up.
5. 19:00 Knock out tourney 8,4,2,1. Dress-up game, Marker pen duels, tankard competition. Combat and entertainment to be done by 21:00 as band kicks off. Weapons away and time to relax.
6. Sunday about mid-day back out to Linton to pick up the gear and get it back to the Hall.

If you're wanting to make your own way there, and you';re on Conal's list - the camp has a guarded front gate. Just tell them you're with the Red Ravens and you're performing at the WOs and SNCOs. They'll give you a visitors pass and directions to the Mess.
